Myanmar (Bruma) is as you probably know a dynamic country with the people and the government not necessarily on the same page this causes some interesting dynamics for travelers going there. How can you go wrong with a name like motherland. and it lives up to its name a very neat and tidy guesthouse with a friendly staff a bit far out of the Rangoon city center but worth it for the price and the amenities. they have a air con dorm room that is very popular with allot of travelers also is know just like at moms for its great breakfasts. the only big negative for the 2 Motherland is shared toilets.

You gotta do the dance when you say the name but hey clean friendly and reliable expect the usual YMCA decor with transportation to the airport available . The Y will let you store luggage which is a very nice benefit if you want to travel to the temples light. like most of the cheap hotels in Yangon (Rangoon) free breakfast is included into the guest room rates
