Hotel Ohedo a Tokyo Budget hotel was recommended by a friend. We ended up staying at a Tokyo guesthouses near by, but this would have been our second choice. Not a real big budget hotel however the rooms for this price class Tokyo Hotels are decent sized. The rooms are equipped with bath tub TV Coffee tea maker and there is internet access, so all of these things together with the fact that the staff speaks good English, makes this a Tokyo budget hotel you should strongly consider if you are in Japan
There are a ton of budget hotels in Tokyo. The things that I would recommend that you look for are internet access? If you have your own Wifi enabled computer you can go to a Starbucks or a McDonalds and get online, otherwise most places charge allot like $4 a hour and it is not real fast. The other thing is do they speak English? A big plus as the staff can point you in the right directions. Close to trains or subway? Taxis are cheap compared to most other things but the distances in Tokyo are large and traffic can be a real hassle. Is it a short time or LOVE HOTEL?Most Tokyo budget hotels are short time hotels so you need to check that out if you need to get up early in the morning. Another thing about Tokyo budget hotels is that they have you check out at 10 am and will not let you check in until 3 pm surprisingly this was true the cleaning of the rooms takes place where they change everything on a floor so all the rooms will be tore up if you will until that time so beware!
