Many snorklers after having excellent snorkeling - skin diving tours become enchanted with the underwater world and often find themselves asking " I wonder what does it take to become a scuba diver " EcoSea offers 2 PADI programs which provide 2 excellent ways to try diving without the commitment needed to become open water certified diver.
Our DSD Discover Scuba Diving sometimes called intro/resort dives are fun and will give you the opportunity to do a few skills and actually take a PADI instructor lead tour underwater with scuba gear providing you with a great introduction to scuba diving. You can also apply the intro resort dive towards getting your PADI scuba diver certification or open water certification.
The second option is a new program that is extremely popular because it allows you to become a open water certified diver in two steps over the course of a year or you can remain a scuba diver forever. The scuba diver program essentially takes you through the first half of the open water process you will do some class room work and then off to some confined water to take your first underwater breaths you will do some water skills and go for two PADI instructor lead underwater tours.
