Located with a in a days drive of Manila with a 1 1.5 hour ferry ride makes this a good choice to travel to if you are doing the Philippines quickly

We went with pacific divers a small shop loosely affilated with PADI as the owner is a PADI instructor offered some fair prices The major area for Puerto Galera is Sabang but the shops there tend to overload their trips a d stick allot of divers in the water at the same time. we had 3 divemaster's with only one customer when we went to Hiba a deep wall dive full of fish we talked them into doing the same site for the 2nd dive as well which none of the DM had a problem with as the site is so awesome.

The service and the food at the local restaurants left allot to be desired the portions and the food were uninspiring the barbecue at night were all the same thing.

Lots of bars on the beach featuring ladies boys if you are looking for night life your best bet is to head to sabang Expect to pay dearly.
