Philippines Scuba Diving

Puerto Galara,

Puerto Galara scuba diving offers some of the best butterfly's in the Philippines it also has some fairly accessible wrecks as well some great deep reefs. The sea snake above followed us up to the boat a great way to end the dive Hipa Reef was so nice that we went back there twice and then went over to Sebang for the wrecks over there as well as Monkey beach. On most of the dives you really needed to keep your eyes open for the nudibranch's as well as the octopus that were in the holes.

We did our Puerto Galara scuba dives with Pacific divers which offers PADI Scuba Diving on White Beach. They were one of the smaller dive schools in Puerto galara but they had everything that we like to see, like small groups and cheap dives. They run around $20 a dive, maybe a little more if you need gear. They had there own boat, which like most of the dive schools in the Philippines was a tri maran, small, no facilities, but had good shade and you could get sun if you liked.
