PADI Advanced Open Water
Scuba Diver Training
The PADI Advanced Open Water course is a great way to increase your knowledge and comfort in the water. Too begin with you must have a PADI Open Water Card or equivalent certification card from a recognized dive certification organization like Scuba Schools International SSI, NAUI, CMAS, BSAC, SDI and many others.
There are two mandatory core dives for the PADI Advanced Open Water Card Deep Dive and Underwater Navigation dive. The most popular way for EcoSea DIVE is to do the 2 day Advance Open Water course as a overnight Scuba Diving liveaboard on the Gulf of Thailand, which when you complete the overnight trip, you will receive the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Card, which is recognized the world over. EcoSea Dive is committed to giving you the least expensive and most comprehensive dive classes that we can, for this reason, we keep the classes small to make sure that you get lots of personal attention.
Advanced Open Water Electives
As Cambodia's only PADI Go Eco operator we highly recommend the Peak Performance Buoyancy which is excellent for 3 very good reasons. It really improves the way that you move through the water, you do less damage to the environment and it improves your air consuption.We generally do the Under Water Naturalist and the Night dive as part of the course and we have a Diver Propulsion vehicle which is another excellent choice as the 5th dive.
The Dive Course
We start you out with the PADI Advanced Open Water book there are no tests with the Advance course, but you are required to do the knowledge reviews that corresponds to the dives that you will be making. . We normally do 3 dives of the Advance Open Water course on the first day starting with Peak Performance Buoyancy, then we normally do the Underwater Navigation where we teach you to find your way around underwater. After a long break we do the night dive which finishes off the day then we eat and sleep as you will be tired the next morning we do the remaining dives which would be the deep dive and the Underwater Naturalist where you learn how to identify different fish species as well as corals and sea life.
The PADI Advanced Open Water Card
This program results in a PADI Advanced Open Water Certification Card that will allow you to do more Adventure Scuba Diving and is a step towards a PADI Divemaster ranking or PADI instructor many people take this two day course when they are challenged for time or money and want to get both a liveaboard and a certification. Once you have the certification you can continue on to become a PADI Rescue Diver With any PADI Instructor any where in the world so if you are traveling during your gap year for instance you could do the training in two different countries and still continue towards becoming a PADI Dive Master or a PADI Open Water Instructor where you teach people to become PADI Open Water Diver
