The Haven Guesthouse in kuala Lumpur is so nice I wanted to almost rate it as a Boutique hotel but is is a guesthouse -hostel as many of the rooms are shared toilets. The toilets I must add are in very good condition and it would not be such a depravity to have to use them in a pinch if you were looking for a cheap room and could not find one. rooms are a little small but comfortable with Air Con.
The rooms are a little expensive starting at 88RM but they also include WiFi which internet tends to be expensive that you can get in most of the rooms and they have a nice common area with a lot of nice amenities like a large TV library. (Go to Star bucksif you stay somewhere else it is free if you have your WiFi laptop.)
Located right on the end of Bukit Bintang right under the giant TV. It is easy to go over to China town, about a 5 minute walk. Also a 3 minute walk to the bus station or to the mono rail and the train and taxis are very abundant here as well. you will find lots of food and entertainment in this area as well shopping
