Kuala Lumpur Budget Hotels Malaysia
Budget hotels in Kuala Lumpur are many but not very inspired for the cost for the most part they are small, something that they have in common with Singapore. Budget hotels in KL will run from 100Rm up to around 300 rm but when you get towards the top of the scale. It is worth looking to upgrade to a 3 or 4 star hotel for the price difference as there is a lot of competition in those ranges. The Federal Hotel is right around $100 USd and you would be in a much nicer hotel. Budget hotels also tend not to have pools here another reason to consider moving up a class or two.
The Tai Ichi was surprise the outside of the hotel was not very inspired but the rooms were very comfortable and if you didn't mind that the TV was really small was a nice little Budget hotel right in the heart of Bukit Bintang.

Another KL budget hotel that we liked was very close to the Tai Ichi Hotel. the Agora Hotel is geared more towards travel agents and tour groups a very good location across from the BB mall.
