Kings Cross Cheap Hotels Budget Guesthouse & Hostels

Searching around in Kings Cross for cheap hotels and guesthouses is a chore and I was very lucky to find this hotel. Cheap by Sydney standards at only $79 a night. I received a room on the 5th floor and was rewarded with a great view of Downtown Sydney including the Sydney Opera house the Sydney Bridge and the Harbor area. With in two blocks you have the Kings Cross underground station which connects you into Sydney's excellent rail system.
The rooms were fairly basic and everything worked. Air con, Small TV, hot water. There are vending machines for cokes and snacks.
There are many places to eat in the King Cross neighborhood, laundry room is available as well as a storage area which you will need as the hotel like all hotels and guesthouses apparently in Australia require a 10 Am check out a major bummer.

This Kings Cross hotel also has internet but it seemed to be expensive there is lots of internet in the area especially by the Kings Cross main business area near Sydneys famous Coke sign.
Kings Cross Hostel guesthouse ?
Formule 1 also allows 4 people to a room so if you do the math it comes out to be the same or less as what you would get a real Sydney hostel. I don't know how comfortable it would be if you had 4 people in a room but you do get the additional amenities that you would not get in a traditional Hostel room like the en suite and the Air con and TV in the room.
