A PADI Jr Open Water Diver is between the ages of 10 and 14 years old and after getting the PADI scuba diving certification 10 and 11 year olds may only dive with a PADI Professional, a certified parent or certified guardian to a maximum depth of 12 metres/40 feet. EcoSea Dive is committed to giving you the least expensive and most comprehensive scuba dive classes that we can, for this reason we keep the classes small and when we have the kids we keep try to only have the kids and their parents to keep the distrations to a minuimum and to make sure that you get lots of personal attention. .As a Go Eco operatoer We also try to give 5 dives with the aditional 5th scuba dive covering things that you will see in the Peak Performance Bouancy and Underweater Naturalist from the Advanced Open Water course the extra dive we find makes the Junior scuba divers feel even more safe and confident when they finish the PADI open water course.

The Jr PADI Open Water course is composed of 3 different components

What to expect you will watch 5 presentations and read a book and you will complete 5 knowledge reviews and take some quizzes and a final examine sounds hard, not really, we have not had anyone not pass the PADI Open Water Course final exam. you will also need to watch the youth diving responsibility and risks video or thourghly review the youth diving responsibility and risks flip chart

The PADI Scuba Diver Card

This program results in a PADI Scuba Certification Card that will allow you to dive with a PADI Divemaster or PADI instructor. Many people take this two day scuba diving course when they are challenged for time and or money. Once you have the certifiaction you can continue on to become a PADI Open Water Diver With any PADI Instructor any where in the world so if you are travling during your gap year for instance you could do the training in two different countries and still get the PADI Open Water Card.
