Inle Lake is a amazing place we were going to pass it up but then a friend said that we would be missing something special and they were correct. The town itself is nothing, but Inle lake is a truly wonderful place.
Inle Lakes View Point Hotel
The wonderful couple that run the View Point hotel went way out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable and even gave us a free meal. We were so happy that I purchased a ruby ring from them. This is the best Cheap hotel in Inle Lake, very cheap compared to the hotels on the lake it is on the border of the town so was not as noisy as the places on the main strip that you really are best advised to avoid.
The rooms are spartan but comfortable all are en suite and most of the rooms offer a great view, Some of the hotel rooms at the back have great views of the mountains and fields that surround the town. You also get the feel of the hotels on the lake as the Hotel is on stilts.

Another high light of the trip The Paradise Inle resort hotel is in the lake the only way to get to the hotel is by long tail boat which is part of the charm. We have never witnessed a entrance like you get at this place quite amazing and enchanting. the rooms are simple but very taste full with a eco focus
