Blue Spotted ray taking a little nap. The fish let me get real close to take this underwater picture. The best way to get underwater shots like this is to move very slow and stay where the fish can see you. Also do not go over the top as that always spooks them.
You can also do day trips out of Lauan Banjo but then you will only get two dives in a day. Find a deal on the liveaboards after you factor food and lodging and the extra dives and the quality of the dives it works out to be almost the same price and you are on a liveaboard living the dive life of the rich and famous.

Much bigger than it looks a very beautiful fish shot while doing a safety stop! Everyone else was dangling on the rope and I saw this ray finning slowly by, I hit the gas and got this great underwater photo.
A good trip is Bali to the Komodo Islands as you get everything in a week two wrecks in Bali, Muck diving Amed and Sorya secret and pelagic sharks rays and other cool stuff on the Komodo
liveaboard's.
I would suggest that you take a PADI Underwater photography class in Bali at Ocean Sun and then go and do the Komodo Liveaboard once you have some good underwater photography skills.
If you like nudibrach and wrecks Bali is the place for you besides being some of Asia cheap diving destinations it also offers on the Liberty Wreck many nudibrachs to take photos of as Nudibrach don't move very fast and are very colorful they are favorites of Underwater Photographers.
