Holiday Palace Hotel Casino and Resort

Cambodia also has casinos and one of the best deals in town is the Holiday Palace and Casino this is a brand new full service beach resort that has a casino attached! Right across from the beach you get great views. The rooms all have air-con hot water and the rooms are spacious. The local Expats come here for R&R that is how good of a deal it is. This Budget hotel has full convention capabilities with 140 rooms they have space most of the time with the exception of Christmas New Years when everything is full so if you plan on being in Sihanoukville at that time be sure to reserve early. As of this writing you could get rooms on weekdays for USD $14 . If you have been on the road for a while this is a spectacular deal to take advantage of for a couple of days and spoil yourself. Orchidee Budget Hotel

One of our favorites of the NGO crowd when in Sihanoukville is the Orchidee Guest House in the Ochheuteal beach area. Large, clean, airy rooms, two beds to a room, hot water bathroom in room, air-con, cable TV, walking distance to beach and some local restaurants, some room service available. Quiet, safe, friendly English speaking staff. Expect to pay anywhere from $15 to $25. Reservations may be difficult to get during high season and Khmer holidays. The hotel is located in a quiet area with not allot of choices for western food unless you go into town around 1.5 miles away which is just a little too far to walk. Expect to pay about $1.00 for a motorbike. You may want to rent a car or motorbike or 100 cc scooter if you decide to stay here.
