Cheap Burma Guesthouses are very easy to find If you are there but trying to find them on the internet is a duanting task at best if you do find onr on the internet trying to do a online reservation with them is sometimes a impossible task as the internet in Myanmar burma is so bad.

We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the exprience in Burma it is unfortunate for the friendly people of Burma that becuase of the political situation that they are not benefiting from tourism. Myanmar from what we could see was very well manered and understood the needs of self directed western travelers. We wished that we had more time to spend there. We did the traditional route seeing Yangon, Mandalay, Bagon and Insle Lake.

The Winner Inn was a real pleaseue for a cheap Yangon guesthouse hotel. Someone who lives in Burma told us to check this guesthouses out and we were glad that we did. The Winner Inn staff is very friendly and the service is very attentive and gets the job done.

Located with in a long walk of the largerst and most spectacular of the Stuppas. The Winner inn was not in a area of cheap hotels so the resturants and services were better than you would find in the backpacker area. They even had internet that worked OK by Burma standards. Even the taxis drivers knew how to find it.
